Looking North, Blakely's runway is on the extreme West tip of the hilly island
Blakely is a residential community airport, with a nice asphalt runway, on the Northwest side of the island. It's caution is the hump in the middle which kills the sight line from the ends. There are no resorts there, and not much reason to visit, unless you know someone there with a good wine cellar.
